Abstract

This study aims to analyze flood disaster management by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Sungai Penuh City. influence The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The data collection technique was carried out through observations made to selected informants such as the Secretary of the Sungai Penuh City BPBD, the Head of the Prevention and Preparedness of the Full River City BPBD, the Full River City BPBD Head of Emergency and Logistics, the Full River City BPBD Head of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, and also the most rural communities cognate.The results of this study indicate that the analysis of flood disaster management by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Sungai Penuh City is very good, but there are some aspects that are classified as not good, such as littering which can cause flooding in the expanse of Rawang sub-district.
