PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN ADAT SIMPANG BUMI TERHADAP PREFERENSI POLITIK MASYARAKAT TIGO LUHAH SEMURUP KABUPATEN KERINCI

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Simpang Bumi traditional leadership on the political preferences of the people of Tigo Luhah Semurup, Kerinci Regency, with the exogenous variable, namely the leadership variable (X1) and the endogenous variable, namely political preferences (Y). The population of this study was the Tigo Luhah Semurup indigenous community, Kerinci Regency. Data was collected through a questionnaire. The research findings show that there is an influence of the leadership style applied by the Depati Simpang Traditional leadership on the Political Preferences of the TigoLuhah Semurup Community, this can be seen with a significance of ?=0.05 with the results of the t test=5.055 and a significance of <0. .05 (0.000<0.05), meaning that the hypothesis can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that leadership style has a positive direct influence on the Political Preferences of the TigoLuhah Semurup Community.
