Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the role of skilled cultural managers in preserving and developing local culture amidst the challenges of modernization. Utilizing library research, the study finds that skilled cultural managers play a central role in cultural preservation. However, they also face various challenges, such as lack of financial support and limited access to technology. Additionally, the advancement of globalization and modernization has altered how society appreciates and consumes culture, adding complexity to the tasks of cultural managers. The study recommends several strategies to enhance the effectiveness of skilled cultural managers in the digital era, including inter-agency collaboration, digital technology utilization, and innovation in cultural education.
