Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of additional income improvements on employee performance and work morale as an intervening variable at the Keliling Danau Subdistrict Office, Kerinci Regency. The respondents in this research were 22 ASN with Civil Servant status. The analytical tools used in this research are simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and path analysis, by conducting regression tests. The research results show that: 1. Additional income improvements have no significant effect on work morale, it is known that tcount > ttable is 1.373<2.101 with a significance level of 0.186 (significance > 5%). So there is an insignificant influence between Additional Income Improvement (X) on Work Morale (Y). 2. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance, it is known that tcount>Ttable is 2,415>2,101 with a significance level of 0.027 (significance <% 5%). So there is a significant influence between Job Satisfaction (Z) on Performance (Y). 3. Additional Income Improvement and Job Satisfaction together have a positive effect on performance. This is proven by the fcount value of 80.422 and ftable 3.55 with a significance of 0.000 therefore fcount > f table (80.422 > 3.55) so Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. With a significance value of less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), it can be concluded that additional income improvements and job satisfaction together have a positive and significant effect on work morale at the Keliling Danau sub-district office, Kerinci Regency. 4. Through Path Analysis and t-test in this research, it shows that the additional variable Income Improvement has a positive and significant effect on Work Morale with Job Satisfaction as a mediator. Because tcount is 2.883 with a significance level of 5%. For ttable at a significance level of 0.05 and df = n-k (20-2=18), the size of ttable is 2.101. So tcount > ttable (2.883 > 2.101), it can be concluded that the mediation coefficient of 1.270302 is significant. Which means that Job Satisfaction can be a mediator in the influence of Additional Income Improvement on Work Morale at the Keliling Danau Subdistrict Office, Kerinci Regency.
