Abstract

2020 Undergraduate Program at STIA Nusa Sungai Penuh, Implementing a Strategy to Reduce Arrears in Electricity Accounts at PT. PLN (Persero) West Sumatra Full River Branch UPJ East Warm Water Unit Tutung River Service. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy to reduce arrears in electricity accounts at PT. PLN (Persero) West Sumatra Full River Branch UPJ East Warm Water Unit Tutung River Service. The research method used is a qualitative approach method. The informants in this study come from people who are directly related to the implementation of the Electricity Account Arrears Reduction Strategy by PT. PLN (Persero) West Sumatra Full River Branch UPJ East Warm Water Service Unit Tutung River namely Biler / Account Assistant, Biler / Account Staff, Technical Assistant and Technical Staff. The research instrument is the researcher himself and data collection through interviews and field observations. Strategy to Reduce Arrears in Electricity Accounts at PT. This PLN (Persero) includes socialization of electricity payments on time, temporarily disconnecting customers who are in arrears, supervising customers who have been temporarily disconnected, demolition and multiplying PPOB. The results of the research are that they have conducted socialization regarding the importance of paying electricity on time, have made temporary terminations for customers who are late in paying electricity for 3 months, have conducted supervision for customers who have been temporarily disconnected, have carried out demolition for customers who are late in paying electricity 3 months and trying to Increase PPOB payment agents.
