PENGARUH ETIKA TERHADAP PROFESIONALISME APARATUR SIPIL NEGARA (ASN) DENGAN MOTIVASI SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA DINAS KEPENDUDUKAN DAN PENCATATAN SIPIL KABUPATEN KERINCI

Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Ethics and Work Motivation on Professionalism. both directly and indirectly the Kerinci Regency Population and Civil Registration Office. This study used a quantitative method, with exogenous variables namely Ethics (X1), intervening variables Work Motivation (X2), and endogenous variables namely Professionalism (Y). The population of this study were all 29 State Civil Apparatuses (ASN) at the Kerinci Regency Population and Civil Registry Office. The data analysis technique used was path analysis and was divided into 2 paths, namely sub structure 1 and sub structure 2. Data was collected through a questionnaire, The research findings show that: 1) There is a significant direct effect of Ethics on Work Motivation, where the contribution value obtained is 0.739 or 73.9% with a significance of 0.000. 2) There is a significant direct effect of Ethics on Professionalism, where the contribution value obtained is 0.133 or 13.3% with a significance of 0.000. 3) There is a significant direct effect of Work Motivation on Professionalism, where the contribution value obtained is 0.372 or 37.2% with a significance of 0.000. 4) There is a significant indirect effect of Ethics on Professionalism through Work Motivation, where the contribution value obtained is 0.191 or 19.1%
