Abstract
This research aims to determine the influence of Servant leadership and Work Motivation on Performance. either directly or indirectly at the Office of the Research and Development Agency (BALITBANG) Sungai Banyak. This research uses quantitative methods, with exogenous variables, namely the Servant Leadership variable (X1), the intervening variable Work Motivation (X2), and the endogenous variable, namely Performance ( Y). The sample for this research was 17 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Research and Development Agency Office (BALITBANG) Sungai Banyak. The data analysis technique used is path analysis and is divided into 2 paths, namely sub structure 1 and sub structure 2. Data was collected through questionnaires. Research findings show that: 1) There is a direct influence of servant leadership on performance significantly, where the contribution value obtained is 0.409 or 40.9% with a significance of 0.000. 2) There is a significant direct influence of work motivation on performance, where the contribution value obtained is 0.121 or 12.1% with a significance of 0.000. 3) There is a significant direct influence of Servant leadership on Work Motivation, where the contribution value obtained is 0.772 or 77.2% with a significance of 0.000. 4) There is a significant indirect influence of Servant leadership on Performance through Work Motivation, where the contribution value obtained is 0.195 or 19.5% with a Tcount value greater than Ttable (1,788 > 1,740).
