PENGARUH KOMPETENSI TERHADAP KINERJA DINAS LINGKUNGAN HIDUP KABUPATEN KERINCI MELALUI PELATIHAN SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING
Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of competency and training on performance. either directly or indirectly at the Kerinci Regency Environmental Service. This research uses quantitative methods, with exogenous variables, namely competency variables (X1), training intervening variables (X2), and endogenous variables, namely performance (Y). The population of this research is all 25 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Kerinci Regency Environmental Service. The data analysis technique used is path analysis and is divided into 2 paths, namely sub structure 1 and sub structure 2. Data was collected through questionnaires. The research findings show that: 1) There is a significant direct influence of competence on training, where the contribution value obtained is 0.522 or 52.2% with a significance of 0.000. 2) There is a significant direct influence of competence on performance, where the contribution value obtained is 0.238 or 23.8% with a significance of 0.000. 3) There is a significant direct effect of training on performance, where the contribution value obtained is 0.259 or 25.9% with a significance of 0.000. 4) There is a significant indirect influence of competence on performance through training, where the contribution value obtained is 0.179 or 17.9%
